connecting castle link to pc

hi guys iv had a little look on youtube and on here but struggling to find how i get the castle link connected to my laptop, i have the little usb thingy that they sent just not sure how to wire it all up etc?

just plugged it all in again and now its working?? lol

you must of had wired wrong way, on little usb link is negative symbol.

I put a small blob of paint next to each of the Castle Link pins, to match the colours of the esc wires.

Nope it was the right way round, just unplugged it then plugged back in again and it worked
