If you check the warehouse location of the batteries in your cart I'm sure you will find they are in the international warehouse.

Yep. Whether you used the .CO.UK extension or not, you still need to choose your location, and then select the UK warehouse before it will all work properly.

I've had guys at the field struggle, and even my own Father with the concept.

Nope, you are in the global (China) site, it says perfectly clearly in the top left corner.

If you want to buy batteries from the UK warehouse you either select UK Warehouse from the drop down list (where it currently says global) or you click on the Union Jack flag for the item and that will take you to the UK warehouse listing.

You just select the warehouse you want from the list, or you click on the flag of the country you want. I genuinely cant see where the confusion comes in?

Bear in mind the .co.uk or .com are just internet domain extensions, not physical locations.

Way I see it if I log into .co.uk and click on the price I should get it for that price on that site otherwise what's the point in having a UK site

It would be even more confusing if you were in the USA. They have 2 warehouses. One on the east cost, one on the west.

And of course you are (at least from a UK location if not UK business) providing you select UK warehouse products. The 'stuff' is of course all made in China but there again 90+% of all RC heli 'stuff' is made in China or far eastern locations.

I find the Hobbyking website a nightmare. They have a ton of stock at some great prices, but at times it's a nightmare trying to get all the parts together.

Because they don't let you mix warehouses, even if you do find everything, sometimes it won't let you add it to your basket. I wind up opening tabs for all the items I want to buy, then checking by hand to see which of them are in stock at which warehouses. And then if I do need to order some stuff from UK and some from international, I have to carefully add the right things to the basket so I can put in a complete order for *only* the items that are in stock (don't want to backorder with them!), and *after* that order has totally gone through, then I can add the other stuff from another warehouse!

Funny, i find it perfectly ok. You aren't able to add items from different warehouses to one order because it couldn't possibly ship as one order, so that 'rule' is understandable and sensible. If you want parts from different warehouses you simply create a separate orders, which really isn't hard.

I cant think of a single multinational retailer who would let you order from different global locations on one order?

yeah you have to make sure you select the uk warehouse from the dropdown on the left (where it says global warehouse)
Or search for the item you want and select the item that says (uk warehouse) underneath it
Going to .co.uk makes no difference
