im baffled

just wondering if any of you guys have had the following,, tracked a package on the royal mail web site on friday and read this, package delivered to recipients safe address from medway sorting depot, ??? as ive only got one postal address (home) im a bit puzzled to say the least going to leave it until tuesday then im going to make a few calls,,

Has a neighbor accepted it? I had this with a parcel last year my next door neighbor took it from the postman(I had not named an alternative address).I didn't get a card saying it was left just the change of delivery status on the website (left in safe place). After ringing them royal mail said they would have to look into it as the only information they had was delivery accepted by a Mrs Hewlitt at my address..... Thats when i realized where it was.

well. i didnt get a card through the door, neigbour hasnt got, royal mail hasnt got it at sorting office , they say its now missing and an investigation will start, yeah ok.. now have to wait a month before hk agree its a missing item. wonder if the hk logo is showing on the parcel and its been noticed by some light fingers

I get them delivering stuff to the wrong address quite often. In the estate where I live we have a 'Road' an 'Avenue' a 'Close' and a 'Grove' all with the same street name. I'm in the 'Grove' but the posties/couriers are forever delivering stuff to the the 'Avenue' or the 'Road'. Trying to track it down is a nightmare because you can never get any sense out of the Royal Mail or Courier. Last time they swore blind that they had my own signature for it, yet it eventually turned out they had delivered it to the Avenue. In my case the only hope is the recipient brings it round, they usually do but sometimes they take a few days about it.

I had a courier last year swear blind that I had signed for my tracked parcel. Trouble was I was on holiday abroad at the time!

Turns out the courier had signed for it himself and just left it outside my door. A neighbour who knew I was away, saw it and kindly picked it up and kept it safe from the wind and rain until my return.

It's a lottery sometimes!

i am not well today and my lady is away. 8.30am courier with package for my wife, 9.01am courier with package for my wife, 9.20 courier with package for me, 9.40 postman with package for me.
I feel like a sorting office.
Plus side is they brought me a 2nd 180cfx and a bunch of spares i bought from Germany.
So i am going to have my porridge and a cuppa as there is no way im going up n down the stairs again.
And i have to send an item at the post office.

May sound silly, but check your rubbish bins and anything else outside where they could have hidden it...

+1. When i was into my 1/5th scale bajas, i had nearly 100 quid of upgrades left in my mothers blue bin thats for paper which was put out for collection. i lost the bits and despite having the card saying left in bin from postman, because my mother had put the bin out without knowing, i got nowt back.

oh no hope it wasnt in the bin cos the day after royal mail said they had delivered my parcel my bin was collected by rubbish men, so its now in a big hole some where,, on the plus side there notes on there tracker says its at a safe address lol.. fingers crossed, ah i hear you say, find out the other address and go and collect it, so i contacted them and they assure me its at 70 ******** rd, i laugh, and say thats where i live now..

update,,, good news my batteries turned up today, no explanation from post office, nothing.
