Esc throttle calibration

Hi everyone,

Quick question. Should I always have throttle trim enabled when flying helis? Why is this? During esc throttle calibration, a guy calibrated mine using throttle trim but I have always read from castle creations to program it by powering up with full throttle and then finding the arming point using the servo travel on transmitter.

bit confused on how to calibrate with throttle trims.

Do not use subtrim , power up at full throttle with throttle endpoints at 50/50 then scroll up untill you get the tone add 2 clicks , lower stick an scroll to find bottom stick acknowledgement , esc is armed now, also you must have a linear throttle curve 0 to 100 to do this
