  • Spektrum DX6i - Multiple Bind Question

    Hi

So I've had a T-Rex 450 Pro V2 for a couple of months and was idly looking for something I can fly around the house as well and am drawn to the Align T-Rex 150 DFC.

One of the good points for me is it looks like I can just bind my controller to it and go, my question is:

If I set the 150 up in model memory 2 and bind, do I lose the binding to the 450 in model memory 1 or when I change between models will it remember? I ask as my AR610 is buried deep in the frame of the 450 and if I have to rebind every time I change what I'm flying it will be a royal pain in the ass.

Thanks in advance for your help

    Dave

Could you explain, the store page for the super combo bundle just says:

"Radio transmitter and electronic equipment required for assembly:
          1.ALIGN T6 or Futaba S-FHSS 2.4G Transmitter or JR DSM2/DSMJ/DMSS?Spektrum DSM2/DSMX 2.4GHz Transmitter"

Futaba radio binds straight to it but spektrum require a satelite, you get a plug with the kit to attach it

Apologies Nick but this is all new to me, is this what I need? RJ01 DMSS Remote Receiver HER15001 Model Helicopters

Also noted your comment about not being a great indoor choice, any recommendations of something in a similar vein that would be?

Indoor you'd be better off with a Blade nano-CPX (collective pitch), Blade mSRX (fixed pitch) or nano-QX (a quad)

All will bind directly to your DX6i without sats! If you want something exactly Trex150 sized (but not really suitable for indoors), there's the mCPX/BL, which many (me included) would rate above the Trex150 anyway!

Nice one, thanks Tom, I like the look of the nano-CPX but can't find it in stock anywhere, will see if my patience can hold out or whether I go for (not really suitable) mCPX

i dont like flying my nano cpx in the house. its too twitchy (could be toned down but still)

nanoQX is used by a few here for house flying and they are very happy with them. and they are cheap!
