Thing is its in stock at a lot of places, its no rocking horse poo, it more like putting a horse on a rocker and making it poo.
There is no waiting list there are at least 20 i can buy now from various website in the UK. plus i can find none on ebay for 3K
Picture 3 and 6 shows that the circular sealing sticker on the black box in the front of the pic is clearly opened and resealed, carton also has a gap which happens usually as you pri open the lip, the box next to it is scratched and there is more evidence of it being opened on the ebay listing which has more pictures. may be its not been flow but going by the statements on the listing i am already suspicious.
Plus once opened it not brand new anymore doesn't matter who you are, new maybe, brand new no, not unless cardboard box is still sealed and you haven't taken it out the box to take a peek, pics etc...

Exactly!.. Warranty is not generally transferable and that alone must be worth 20% of the original price, plus you have the second hand buying risk factor.

2/3 of new price is pretty much the norm for anything that doesn't come with a warranty, and I wouldn't be paying more than 50% of new price for anything that's even been opened.

Whenever i sell anything on here, i put it up for 50% of the current retail price at the time of sale. IMO, it is a waste of time pricing anything higher than that.

Some people do seem to like to try and bleed every single pound out of every sale even if that means the item sits there months and months…. Thats just stubborn stupidity mixed with denial and ignorance IMO Especially as some seem to get desperate and angry when the item doesn't sell for what THEY BELIEVE it is worth?!?

Plus it makes the seller look a bit daft IMO.

Nothing wrong with that if it don't get bumped again....I would rather smash it with a lump hammer than sell at a stupid loss.

Rather smash it with a lump hammer than sell at a stupid loss?

So instead of selling the item and get some money back you'd rather end up with a smashed item and no money whast so ever?

I'd say smashing it up is the stupid loss. Each to their own though!

There are times when by the time you've paid postage, and faffed about to actually send something, you wonder if it was worth the effort. At least if you take a lump hammer to it you've had some fun out of the deal.

Or, you could just keep it, or give it away to someone whose a bit tight for cash and get a nice worm feeling that you did good..... But if smashing your stuff up with a hammer is your idea of fun fair enough, it's yours to do what you want with.

I consider getting 50% of current retail for something that i have got a lot of use out of to be great value personally. I feel i have got my moneys worth… I never buy things and sell them on 2 weeks later… or would never buy a kit and sit on it unbuilt for ages then suddenly decide to sell it. I accept that if that is the case, valuing something becomes more difficult as 50% would sting a bit if you have never used it and feel you have got nothing out of it.

I get a lot of use out of my gear, but look after it very well. In that situation i personally feel 50% is fair on both sides.

I agree on small items once you sort postage out, pack it nicely and get it sent off you wonder if it was worth it. I rarely, if ever sell low value things for just that reason. Too much potential hassle for not a lot of money really.

If you want top whack for used stuff… get it on Fast Lad web site. Although your money has to be spent with them once the item sells. I was going to put my TT E700 up on there and use the credit for fuel They ship globally to a wide range of people so much more chance of a sale at a good price.

I sold my Protos max rtf for £850 on here... could have got £950-£1000 going through Fast Lad i would think. But… its obviously most effective if you are planning on buying another model straight away for a similar amount. Although, this hobby being what it is, large credit with that kind of shop is never going to go unused in my experience anyway. You have to weigh up wether the extra £100-£150 is worth it to leave your money tied up with them. Or if you don't mind losing it to get a quick cash deal where someone comes to your house and gets to look over everything and know exactly what they are buying so you both feel comfortable with the deal.

I often wondered what the deal was with the second hand stuff on the FL website?I thought they might take a cut of the sale but now my curiosity has been satisfied!
