Hi I'm looking to get a clutch hub reamed out from 9mm to 9.5mm to fit the os50 crank.
Anyone out there that can help ?

I reckon you would get the end bit in a 10mm chuck of a normal drill

I wouldn't try and do this yourself unless you have no choice.
Any small machinist should be able do do this cheaply.

Used reamers for years & with that one you would need a reamer guide to take it through centrally to ream it out or it will go c*ck-eyed.

does your number still end in 028?
if I get the part I will get him to look at. It an see if he can do it, he does stuff for me for bugger all usually :-)

I'm just getting into all this stuff.. got a shed-full of new expensive toys. Except that at the moment i have no need to own a 9.5mm reamer. You can get a cheap one from arceuro for about £7 which would probably be fine for a simple job in ally. I don;t thik i;d trust an adjustable unless you have some accurate guages to go with it. A half decent reamer that size costs around the £25 mark and 'proper' quality can get into the £150.

I hadn't even noticed the post no!
I shouldnt really be highjacking this thread.. but bought Chester Crusader delux lathe, their lux mill and a bandsaw plus shedloads of tooling. It's all china import stuff but the only way to get the bang for bucks. I've been fancying the gear for 2-3years and finally took the plunge before xmas. the frist projects are making more tools...
