  • Does anyone have a Revolectrix MPA handy?

I'm wanting to up my charging potential to 6 lipos at a time on my PL8. Currenly I'm using the older parallel safe boards and only have 4 ( and one of those has a 2s JST-XH instead of 3s which I never noticed before )

I could try and source an extra 2 or 3 of the boards, but I'm also considering the MPA board instead.

I charge my 12s sticks still on the battery trays though so the distance between the balance connectors is important. Could someone with an MPA handy measure the distance between the 3 6S connectors on one side of the board?

    Extension leads my friend

the connectors are fairly close together, and when you start charging more than 2 x 6s, like my 3 x (2x6s) configurations, it gets cluttered very easily and quickly

Extension leads was the other option, or just get an extra pair of the older boards which means I can space them how ever I like

Did you mean one of these Pete?

Distance between 1st and 3rd is approx 70mm. This one is not used anymore

I have an MPA board - I can measure when I get home around 4.45pm.
But I use extension leads as well.. my batteries are still in their trays so the balance leads are stretched... until i decided to buy extension leads.

Thanks, I may just get extension leads then, just a shame as it's messy

depends if your battery tray is like the trex 700. When I didn't have my extension leads, I just propped the MPA board on top of my lipos and I used the end connectors to charge both my batteries. so end to end with the middle connector on the MPA board unused.
              There's always a way!

By the way - your reply - did that mean you're not bothered about the measurement anymore?

For my sticks I use 10cm extensions (leave them on).

Thanks guys, might just have to get extension cables then, probably works out easier in the long run. Might get myself an MPA board next month, I wonder if I can chain the parallel safe boards before it too for even more charging potential lol
