Hi i have a new solid g which i have fitted to my 600n pro, im using a jr 8900 tail servo. i have been trying to set it up but no matter what i do, the nose of the heli drifts to the right. Has anyone had any experiance with this gyro. Any help would be great

      Leo77,

I am running the Solid G in all my machines with good results.

I set mine up as per the instructions and they've had no drift problems at all. There are 3 things I can suggest you check:

      1) Make sure you have no digital trims or sub-trims inputed into the rudder.. They should all be at 0.

      2) When you turn the model on leave it perfectly still and don't move it until you see the tail kick to let you know the gyro is calibrated. I've noticed this is quite a long procedure on the Solid G compared to other gyros.

      3) If you are using the velcro strap to secure the gyro make sure it's not done up tight.. it's purely there as a belt and braces devices incase the tape breaks. It should just be lightly tightened against the gyro but not in a way that it inhibits the gyros movement.

      Cheers
