Ok i bought the 1800mah lipo for my HBK2 and the connector is differant , rather than try my luck with electrics again i swapped it with a mate for 2 x 1000mah ones that fit mines no problem, any idea how long you get just gentle hovering with these lipo's? and how long i should let my heli cool down before popping in another lipo as i have 5 of these now , thanks =)

The ideal way of finding out flight time is to fully charge the batteries then fly for 2 mins exactly doing what you would normally do then land then you want to charge the battery again and see what youve put back into the pack, you can then work out what 80% of the packs capacity is then divid that be what you have put into the pack this will tell you haw many mins its safe to fly without damaging the battery.

as an example 1800Mah battery 80% = 1440

2 Mins flight uses = 360mah then your using 180mah per min

1440/180 = 8 mins safe flight - although I would probably limit it to 7 mins to be on the safe side, plus this usage figure will increase as you do more with the heli.
