    Can anybody recomend a good book,but light reading that will cover the basics in heli flying.A beginners type guide

    I got my learning books off amazon,just type in helicopters and they come up with a few.hope this helps,

      The 'must have' book is Rays Authoritative Helicopter Manual.

      It's out of print at the moment, but I'm lead to believe that there's a new edition coming soon.

      You're unlikely to get a new copy in the UK right now, but might find a 2nd hand one (try a wanted ad on here or BMFA website). You stand a reasonable chance of getting one from the USA though. I think they're still available over the pond.
