Helimasters 2015 - Munich (.de) only

I have just read on the German forums that Christoph announced that the next Helimasters will be in Munich - this will replace all 4 other events including Venlo and there will only be one Helimasters event in 2015/July and that will be Munich ...

The feedback so far has been mixed - where people from Austria and Switzerland see it as an improvement - surely it gets closer to them - people from the north see it as a no-go ...

Christoph mentioned they are looking and evaluating partners to make travel convenient and cheap as well as they assume the overall price will drop ...

will see how that will work out ...

Thats a shame, we were planning a trip to Venlo next year but Munich is a no go I would have thought. Isn't it turning out to be the money spinner he thought it was going to be.

I will probably never go to a Helimasters event anyway, but I don't see how one event can be better than several smaller ones spread over a few thousand miles, and a few months.

It will/should be bigger I suppose but it's still not in most club pilots reach to go and spectate. They're right up themselves though, on their website "back in Munich where all 3D International competition began. Did it really? What was that then?

You can license their format, thanks very much. Isn't that much the same format that has been around since time began, Sets, Music and Freestyle. I'll watch the streaming if they can keep it working this year but I doubt I'll be going.

What was a great event in the UK has been sucked dry and embroiled in ego's and politics.
