Looks OK, but I think it would bore the pants off you in a short time.

Yeah but for a short time it would be pretty neat though.
Plus if you just tape it together you could still use the bits later.

I had a look through my parts boxes last night, so far I have got the following:-
          3-off HitecHS80 servos
1-off HitecHS101 servo (probably use this for the head as its weaker even though bigger).
          Lots of led all colours
An AA size battery holder (enclosed type), also found a AAA 4cell Rec pack I might use.
I am struggle a bit with the long servo arms though.

Just need some time to build it!

I am having a play with this in my lunch hours this week.
I have got the basic chassis together, am just looking for a suitable head.
Some thing like the cap from a hairspay or similar.

I am going to use a battery checker for the eye Leds, which I hope will work out!
The legs are just made from 1/8" thk plastic card, which I hope will be stiff enough.

Funny you should say that I was thinking of using another servo & adding a claw to front!

Naw, Robots are cool. Even freaky 3-legged insect like ones.
Anyway I long since stopped worrying about things like that.

I have made some progress with my swashbot

There are a few more pics in my gallery.
                        http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/galler...64&ppuser=3517

The AR6100 that I used has a orange led & the Battery checker pulses as you use move the servos which looks quite cool.

Not got the leg geometry quite right yet, gonna redo the legs & arm to give more throw & articulation to get it to move more.

Good fun though & the less mobile it is the less chance of it falling off the desk!
