  • Its arrived

Today my Honey bee king 2 arrived , few down points, the charger came with a japaese plug but have just ordered the the english plug adapter for the charger, and the canopy is yellow instead of white. Other than that i can see no obvious other things , frequency is 35mhz .

theres a wire with what looks to be an end to go in the charger and then crocodile clips is this for field charging?

the heli seems to want to drift left constantly so im going to adjust swash

    Yep.

If the input is 12 Volts, the croc clips allow you to charge off a 12V field battery.

    Cheers

congratulations on you new heli, yes the croc clips are for field charging the clip onto a 12v battery like the ones in flight boxes as for it drifting check the swash is level and that the trims on the tx are in the middle

If I'm wrong say so but surely all heli's will drift to the left if held level in the hover - something to do with the leading blade giving more lift than the receeding one - both my heli's need a slight lean to the right in the hover. If it's all level then the drift is quite normal (I think...)

Correct Andy, you will find that if the blades rotate to the right (clockwise) then the helicopter will take off with a left drift. If the swash is level already then just trim it so it sits in one place in the hover and thats it really. Also to do that then you will be wanting to fly out of ground effect to get a true reading to trim it good.
