    Definitely user error
That said, the user errors seem to disappear when doing the same thing on XP... LOL

I know for a fact that Vista works fine for many many people - just in my particular case, it died. Dell machine running MS software, and Vista just slowly died...

Shame because, as I mentioned, I liked some of the features - like usability tweaks in Windows Explorer for example, putting stuff that you use all the time right in front of your face.

Maybe Windows 7 will be better... we'll see in a couple or three years I guess
    Cheers,

Well we still only sell Windows XP Pro machines at our company!!!
and we still deal with some customers who have Windows 98 but Microsoft don't support that lol!!!

I just have the feeling that Vista will be looked upon in times gone by as another Windows ME!

I mean don't get me wrong Vista is quite a good operating System but I do alot of Coding and development work and all my IDE's run on Vista but I just don't really want to get rid of the XP machine from my household!

So it will be Vista for the wife (and for me to play with!) and XP for me

        LOL, what a great response.

I did look at your Mac specs and thought WTF. I thought I had a decent PC until I saw that... However I can run Phoenix though :P

I've got absolutely nothing against mac's, infact I think they're awesome. I have a PC for gaming along all the other useful stuff they can do. Dont think Mac's get many games do they?

Gonna play about with overclocking my quad core Q6600 today. See what fun I'll have with that. I had intended to do a bit of flying with Rob over the weekend, but as is usually the case... Wheather was and is crap and then I'll be working next weekend. Ho hum.
            Cheers

Update for anyone else who needs to do this:

Bought windows XP and installed it on my Mac via Bootcamp.
Installed Phoenix and it works perfectly.

Yeah it's good. The CX2 was very very life like and has certainly saved me a few broken parts.

Haven't got it to work properly on the DX6i and Bladee400 yet though.
