Surely the part overlapping rotors will cause excessive vibration (on the full size version) due to the variation in prop loading as the blade moved from free air top air effected by the other rotor?
It looks like a really concept but there would be a whole load of huge challenges to turn it into a practical and safe man carrying 'hoverbike'.
