Hitec HS65 servos and FBL controllers!

Hey dudes, My 450 has a set of Hitec HS65MG cyclic servos which I think are analogue, should these normally work with a FBL controller or do I need to change them for digital servos?

The reason I ask is I replaced my knackered se v2 airframe with a 30 quid 450 pro clone and when I connected my GT5.1 FBL unit, no matter what setting I tried for the servos all they did was buzz loudly and got very hot!

I have just bought one of them yellow Kbars plus bluetooth module and was wondering if it might just be the GT5.1 not being compatable with my servos.

Vbars need to be running pro software if you want to use analogue servos

But in general do they work or does it really just depend on the FBL controller you happen to be using?

It depends on the fbl but some won't support analogue servos, you will fry them if they don't

Depends on FBL unit - the k-bar does, you need to go into the Expert settings on the Swash tab, there is a drop-down for Analogue / Digital servos

I am running HS65MG on one of my Blade 450X using the AR7200BX. No problems with them in around 50 flights apart from my fingers.

from memory it does support analogue servos, and I know first hand that the CGY750 does also.
