Rotors! The RC Helicopter Show

It is with regret that I have decided to step down from the Rotors show with immediate effect. In a nutshell there are creative differences and that is the reason for my departure.

I will continue doing my own thing and will keep you guys informed with any updates as and when they happen.

I feel Kev and Ade should continue with this format if they choose to do so and I sincerely wish them the very best for the future.

A big thank you to the many top named guests that have supported us since the beginning and of course a massive thank you to our listeners and followers all over the World.

AND FROM ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


On the up side my spy's , which are way better than Kev's (lol) tell me Nik could be up to something with someone big in the USA !!!!!!

Show was incredibly boring, tried to watch on a number of times but ended up just working and listened to it in the background. Nik was the only one who tried to keep it lively you could say! even with the blatant product push here and there!" especially the KDS Agile/DryFluid/Invertix. Kev was/is well ermm um um um useless at the news! no real news that can't be found out from the net by anybody.

The only show which was remotely interesting was the one with Bert Kammerer and Angelos mr Spartan himself. A lot more could have been done with this as it was boarderline informative but too disorganised. Too much time spent zig zagging about leading to inconsistences and too much time spent trying to bait Bert into saying things about other manufacturers copying Goblins, Nik was guilty of this too.

It's like a complete rerun of the RCheliNation fiasco all over again, differences between the hosts. They call is 'Creative Differences' i call it 'Battle of the Ego's'.

Anyhoooo!, i digress... Good luck to Nik and the Rotors bunch.

I still think Acid was brilliant on the RC Freaks / rchelination whatever it was called show and that character, whats his name, I can't remember just now. You had the wackiness of those two offset by the seriousness of Dan. I'll never forget the episode where they talked about some new tail servo... oh well, you had to be there.

These things always have a lifespan. Probably the answer is having shorter punchier episodes, edit the hell out of them if need be, keep it to a half hour.

I never got it. It wasn't much a show for me as a bunch of guys on webcams rambling aimlessly I thought. Just doing half hour shows with the bits pre-recorded then formed into one show would have kept it more focused on what it was talking about, and would have allowed better quality.

It was a effing terrible show...Nik earache Johnston was not a lot better that Kev there is only so much talking that can be done over model helis...2 of them are crap pilots as well maybe they will use the time too learn too actually fly....

I don't do pod casts, never did heli nation or whatever it was, never did smack talk, don't do that thing justplanechris on rcg hosts & Rotors I'd skip through very quickly. I was only interested in watching the people I actually know so I'd skip everything else lol.

Bang on , maybe this is why anyone with experience tends not to post on here or other forums ?!

I bust a gut to help this hobby and people in it (for which I am rewarded a million times )

rotors was a new show and that takes time to work well...........

Personally I provided feedback on the show as I saw it , I enjoyed it as I do RCHN, CPO , etc something to listen to when building.

You hate something ? get off your arse and do it better is my advice !

People should appreciate a bit more what the Rotors crew have done,

in the end this isn't a huge hobby, and they managed to have some well known names in the show replying to some questions from us all,

after all this was a free show and no one was obliged to watch.

could it be improved? Yes! but no one is expecting BBC type telly when the guys are not getting the TV licencing fees!

oh I did but , it's so frustrating !!!! out from their keyboards they are awesome people , by all means have an opinion but in my view , it should be the same whether behind a keyboard or not !
