3D trick at helimasters spinning tail

Guys

I'm trying to figure out how these sick pilots did this trick.

Mainly performed by CD the 9 year old gaui pilot.

They would go into vertical so the blades are facing you then cause the tail to piro but at a mental rate like 3-5 turns in 1 second.

I think I heard them say this is the tail release trick but I can't figure out how I could so this.

Any ideas

If it's the same trick as Dunkan Bossion does, then he has a switch that nocks the HH mode off and it goes into Rate mode, hence why the tail goes mental as the FBL has nothing to control, well that's my understanding

With the BeastX a tail rate above 125% puts the tail in unlimited mode, but uncontrolled and the limiting factor is the mechanics of your machine.

I heard he pretty much strips a set of tail gears almost every time he does it!

Its the BeastX blur piro setting

I believe it takes some swift flying and good timing to bring it back out of that piro blur without stripping the gears... if you try to go back into controlled, stationary tail it'll strip so you come out of the blur mode into full piro 'normal' tail mode then out from there... that is as much as I understood from chatting to a comp pilot about it. Not sure it wins you many judging points in a comp but it looks kinda cool. Probably won creativity points when it was first done and now just gets an 'oooh', and adds some zing to a kicking routine...

Dunkan at Zone village was just outstanding with this .. .especially the blur piro circuit! (from 2:50) :-O

Bobby watts shows how to do it on one of the smack talk videos, not sure which one though.
as said before he has a switch dedicated to change the tail to rate mode then full stick on the tail then she spins like a banshee..whilst in knifedge.

he did strip gears but he now uses a delay mix so the tail dont strip.
