Good deal or not?

I'm having a debate with myself here and want some opinions!

I've been offered a T-rex 450 XL kit with speed controller and motor for £100.

I originally wanted something to play about with and keep in the boot of the car without spending crazy money as I have 2 nitro pros already. I thought of the Twister Storm due to low cost and ease of set up but now I have a dilema!!

To be honest i wouldn't bother, the XL kit is only £120 brand new, skyline are selling the trex 450s thats a better model than the XL for £134.95 +430L 3550KV + 35X ESC so as you can see just abit more you get a better model with better looking frame rather than a plastic frame.

This kit is brand new from a shop, but your probably right. If the 450s is only £35 quid more its not such a good deal!

I think you just made my mind up for me!! I'm a sucker for bling but cant justify a 450 V2.

just bought a 450s yesterday and for the price (got it much cheaper than stated) so far so good......talking to 3dbasher we both have come to the conclusion the blades need changing....they have far to much flex in them.
Also the motor is lower rated than the one in the SEv2 keep this in mind.

But overall not too bad......Just don't forget all the other equipment you will need to get it airborne.

Collective. Got a contra already for in the lounge! Not sure, may just take the plunge and get the 450 V2!!!
