  • Problem with cheap Tail belt

Hi guys I was wondering has anyone had any problems with cheap tail belts on a 450 size heli. The reason I ask is mine just broke in flight it was new and this was its first flight, there are no wear marks just a clean break, I bought 2 off ebay didn't know if I should use the second one. I was dam lucky as I was bringing it in to land and was only about six feet from the ground, got it down without a scratch, more luck than judgment.
    Cheers .

Yes your right cheap is sometimes a risk and in this game also fool hardy, but you can still get things at a reasonable price point. The last cheap belt I used lasted about 18 months and was not serviceable after a bad attack of hard ground to the tail boom.

Surely, a good quality belt isn't expensive on a 450 sized heli anyway
