  • Who's a lucky boy then?

    Evening All,

Just had a conversation with the lady in a cottage at the bottom of the road. It turns out that this lady owns all the fields around us, and she has given me permission to fly in the field right outside my house! It is by no means an airstrip, but it has masses of grassed open area is more than good enough for me to develop my beginners skills. The only rule is that I cannot fly there when the field has cattle in it, which is once in a blue moon. Happy days! Just took my 450 3D for a spin out there and it is great.
Needless to say that I realise how lucky I am, but this really made my Sunday.

Bonus. Who needs a runway, a patch to take off and land is all you need.

      Right touch you got there.

Hi Mike, now I have a field it is right at the top of my to do list. Which would you recommend out of the 2 groups you mentioned please? I would like to get everything sorted asap, so there are no hold ups once I get an afternoon free.
