only yourself will know how much you value the model
be aware you will not find new spares for the heli
engines and radio can be replaced with new
the morley parts cannot unless you find new old stock or use secondhand parts

yep I am aware of that it might be hard to get parts but I am pretty good at making things from odds and ends or workarounds

The canopy is very hard to source - and expensive. If it is cracked or discoloured etc I probably wouldn't bother. We've had several morleys and still have the Schweitzer 300 but got rid of the 47gs in the end.

depends on what age the canopy is
some were a built up plastic with plywood formers glued together
            some vac formed plastic
            others fibre glass
the clear bubble that goes brittle is vac formed plastic

the 60 size canopy and bubble will fit but it lokks better if you extend the tail truss
how many of the lhc canopies and bubbles are left i have no idea but once gone thats it no more as the mould were in Jim's estate

was having a look around the net and spotted some six inch clear xmass plastic baubles also hobby acrylic hollow balls
hmm might be able to make a canopy/bubble out of that
just a bit of side ways thinking

well I watched the auction and bidding started at £100 and it went for £170
and here was I thinking as it was a motoring memorabilia auction the bidding would have been lower
ah well im sure there will be others nearer my price range
