    charmouth day time was pretty good apart from the heli. shortest flight today was trev at .5 second flight wnd

    • use too just got here battery on phone just found out adam crane didn't even take off and crashed then trev .5 seconds with adam turner 10 seconds

      • Can someone tell me why its called the Charmouth Fly In... Its miles away from Charmouth !!!

        The flying was awsome and the turbine Cobra was worth the visit on its own.... I want one I want one I want one.....

        And, it was the best burger van I have ever eaten from, and I've eaten from loads !!!

        Top day out.

            Funny you should say that! we went for the first time and found that it's miles away from Charmouth in fact past Lyme regis and on a bit more!! wouldnt be so bad but i only live 35 mins away in somerset and still got lost!!!!

            The burger bar "Quality catering" is fab. The lady kindly cut my burger in two and wrapped it nicely for my wife and i to share. Very good service with a smile when normally they just sling it between two dry buns and dump it on the counter!! top marks.

              • I was there! Met up with Ash, Trev, Ade and Martin, apologies to any I missed! Currently getting slaughtered in the hotel bar as I didn't fancy the talk of the on site catering at Newlands

                • what a great weekend!! nice to meet a few and a pi$$er i missed a few... james/ mark!!. phil the chip shop in charmouth was eccellent but it took 3/4 of an hour to get served i was fourth in the queue!!!
                  good evening in the bar but the flying was banned thanks to some plankers (i think thats how its spelt) drawing attention to themselves by over flying the camp site!!!

                        Had a good day, did a couple of flights but wasn't flying to well, a bit nervous.
                        So when i came home thought i would pop down the park with the 500, was flying alot better without the eyes in the back of my head, right up until something came apart in mid air, heli suddenly spirals out of control and in to the ground flat out, smashed to bits.
                        Both frames snapped in half and various other bent and broken items, about 200 quids worth, doh

                        • oh my god bad one james!!! yep it was a pity we missed. i didn't take any heli's wish i had now ,it was not what i expected at all. very good atmosphere i thought.
                          i came back and flew my 400 and popped the tail servo so its humble pie for me on another thread!!

                                Don't dwell on it too long get the bits and get it re-built again..

                                Only about 3 weeks ago I almost wrote my 500 off in a heavy prang but 2 days later it was in the air again flying better than ever with all the upgrades fitted to make me feel better..
