  • Charger advice

It is time for me to upgrade my charger ( fusion 6amp ac) and have noticed the thunderpower 820cd which seems to meet my requirements (dual charging 20a). If anyone has any experience of this unit I would be grateful for your advice, my other consideration was the pl6 but I am drawn to the idea of dual charging
    cheers
    Jon

Hello Jon - I've got a PL6 coupled up with a coolice psu and they are really the bee's nee's.
Have a look HERE, have a read and see if you go down the same route.

      Cheers

I currently run 3s 2200 x 6,6s 2650 x 3,and will be running 6s 4000 x 3 packs across 3 helis and 1 quad . I appreciate how well regarded the pl series chargers are but what I find is that I would like to have the ability to charge different packs at the same time. The tp820cd is priced similarly to the pl6, I guess its a matter of wether the loss of 200watts is compensated by the dual charging facility, would it be fair to assume the quality of the thunder power charger is as good as any ?

The choice is you Jon. Also think ahead what your needs will be in maybe a couple of years from now.
            Buy once, save money later.
            Good luck.
