Sounds like your tail rotor shaft is bent mate, Spin the main rotor by hand and watch very closly at the tail rotor shaft for the slightest wobble (or bend in the shaft)

If thats not the case then replace main shaft and feathering shaft.

The very slightest bend (often unseen by the human eye) in any one of these will cause a vibration like that.

To be honest mine does something very similar and I've never got to the bottom of it. Checked all shafts when I built mine as I always do, never been crashed and it has this annoying tail that just don't look like wag as such. It's not bad enough to make it a pain just annoying

Unless he is talking about the known 500 low headspeed wag before it gets up to speed Phil.

In which case take the dampers out and lubricate with silicone grease making sure the dampers arnt knackered at the same time.

Both my 500s did the same until rectified by this method.

Could be lack of lube I guess, my HS is fine on both 5s and 6s. i'm now being told its something to do with the thrust races on the tail locking up

I mean the bearings could be on there way out causing this as new as it is..

Without inspection its hard to tell.

So what was the reasoning behind swapping the thrusts out for radials rather than just fitting better quality thrusts? Knowing the quality of std Align bearings I thought this would have been an option?
