Test results on the 30C 3S 2200mah Electrolite LiPo!

Agree with Tim, i am very pleased with the 3S, it is my fav batt for the 450 out of all the ones i have and always gets flown first, just wish we would get some more consistant weather for more trials.

The 4S 2200 (22c) fits in a rex 450 SE2 with both the standard and the centuary canopy on. (had to wait to get a charge lead) So will be taking its first fright today. (its an extra 40g on my Kong power 3S)

Mmmm, Glad to hear that Steve although I know Rob Turnbull bought an Electrolite 4s pack (can't remember which one) and it just wouldnt fit in his 450..

I will be taking my 450 round to Bruce's and checking the latest packs and reporting back.

Get any good flights in on the 3S 2200mah 30C this weekend guys? Would really like to see some feedback with some figures on how its handling high discharge.

Also would like to arrange some testing with a professional independent tester (please pm me).

Just re-charged mine after another very succesfull flight, all is good and well in the world of electrolite, excellent battery mate, well pleased.
I have been filling in the form every flight, if you want me to fax a copy of the results so far i can tomorrow from work, just drop me your fax number.
Best 450 batt i have ever used, well done Bruce.

I have just put an eagle tree on my 450 to lot the 2200 3s, will post findings and compare it to the Revo.

The 3300 4S has not been great on an F5B glider running a Kontronok Fun 500/27, the first 2 or 3 climb outs are ok but it drops off very quickly after that - though I know this is only a post for the 2200 which I find show the same characteristics on my 450.

High Bruce the answer is mine is going very well.
I'm hammering my 450 nowadays doing some very hard flying with maxed out controls. I can fly a full 4 minutes of cyclic flips, inverted hovering traveling tick tocks (only cause I can't keep them in one place lol) lots of fast forwards with massive stall turns & loops & rolls & the pack is giving very high head speed right down to the last knockings.
I cant fault the pack at all infact it's as good as any pack I own & better than most. My pack has now had 23 cycles & is showing no sign of puffing & ballances to 4.2 volts per cell after every charge.

Cells on mine also very good, normanly around the 4.19-4.2 mark.
Same sort of flying for me as well and the pack is deffinatley the better of my bunch, holds the head speed really well

Its got to be said this is a lipo as good as any Flightpower I own at less the cost.

Certain forum members have now flown this pack besides me and their verdict was much the same.

gazza/timmy/dougie and myself have flown this pack on our 450's and are well suited with the power and duration..

My pack too has had some real abuse over the weekend, on 32 cycles, still balances perfect. No signs of it degrading at all. After the initial 10-20 seconds of silly power it levels off and maintains a great headspeed untill the 4.30 timer goes off. My second pack is just coming to life now too. Defently my best 450 packs by a mile. Im slowly converting a few of my club members to using them and no one who has tryed mine can knock it.

Had another good flight this eve, did notice more of a drop off today, but flew my tornado pack as well and that was the same but worse, think i need to make sure heli is fully healthy.

Still flying mine everytime the 450 goes out Bruce..

As good today as the day I brought it home..

Still no lack in power or duration and every bit as good as my Flightpower packs.

Must be around 40 flights with this pack now Bruce.
