Nice and sunny, Blowing like hell but today is another no fly day at our field, so it doesnt make a lot of difference anyway.

I was gonna go 1st thing this morning on the way home from work but fancied going to bed for a bit more enticing. It's now nice and sunny but blowing a gale so no flying for me today

                    Ouch!!!!

Why is it you can have a real good crash out in the field smash the heli into the ground and get away with "maybe" blades and a feathering spindle.

You gently tip it over hovering in your garden above the ground 2 feet and smash the thing to bits..

so true mate, but i was lucky only the boom and the bracket for the lower supports ,blades ok just a small skuff near the tips new boom is on & a nice black cable tie around the bracket, & find out how to stop it happening again

Well i'm back!..... had half a tank easy hovering but it was far too windy for my experience, thing was bouncing up and down like a yo yo!!

Packed up fastish and got out of dodge!!

Guess self discipline is all part of the game... pleased i gave up before it ended in tears. Happy to look at the 600 in my living room and dream of a nice (still) sunny day to continue my practice!!
