Sure, we can all have disagreements & debates. The world would be a pretty boring place if everyone had the same opinions & idea's.
I think we need to draw a line under all of this as it's now been blown out of epic proportion. If Martin wants to sell his helis and not return to this forum because of the events of recent days then I'm sorry but I see it as nothing else but an attention seeking exercise & I pay no creedance to it & all this sucky sucky pussyfooting makes me sick.

If however, he decides against jacking it all in then great. I think it would be a shame for HIM to let it all go just because he's ****ed a few people off & they've let him know it. We all make mistakes & say things we don't mean in the heat of the moment but we hold our hand's up, apologise, & move on.

Joking apart, I've not really followed your posts but saw what was going on, people can be very insulting from the safety of there armchair but never at the field to you face and there is a reason for that, remember not to judge those until you met them - Classic example is Phil, a few on here thought he was a dick head but said to me after they met him that he was actually a good bloke, Ash being one of them, and some of the bun fights they had were a great read, I still reserve judgement

I've been trying to quit the internet habit of the hobby for ages and never quite managed it, just too easy to make a coffee (now cold), relax and see what's going on - so good on you for giving it a go but expect you'll be back, like Chris before you, and may even read this garbage but as I remember you are not bigger than me so I'm not afraid.

tinternet forums are great for asking for advise on the hobby your involved with and give a welth of knowledge weather it be sarcastic or wellmeaning but as with all forums there becomes a pecking order and a sort of inner group of elite megga posters (bless em) and i have noticed on wotever forum i have posted weather that be heli's or cars ect there is a band waggon format that always follows suit and that is when one promanant forum member posts an insult ( or it could just be his honest opinion) the rest pick up courage and follow suit untill another counteracts it then watch the posts change, very funny and allways the same outcome! i've had it happen to me but if you think some forums are bad you need to join the horse side of things lol, we (my other half) have horses and i'm sick to death of the bickering she goes on about in forums and these guys actually take it to the shows with emails to the event organisers, i can undestand how getting involved in a rumpus on a web site can put you off visiting it again but it generally cutting off your nose to spite your face and wot i have dicovered about this hobby in the relative short time i've been involved in it is that it is a very close knit community and you could be posting an insult one night only to meet an 18 stone bear knuckle fighter the next day at the feild lol. Not good.
