Motor beeps

I have a scorpion 4035-500 motor that does not beep loudly upon power up/programming esc. My little 450 is much louder. The motor runs fine ands is smooth with new bearings but my powerjive did shut down yesterday when I stripped my main gear ?? So I'm wondering if it's connected,
