  • I need to send out a Lipo

I bought a 3s 2600 Gens Ace from Giant Shark a couple of days ago but when it came, it's too long for my Phantom so I need to return it to them.

Trouble is, the great Royal Mail has banned sending lipos through them.
Can I just ask - how do you guys send yours?
Can I still send it via Royal Mail? I'll pack it properly and obviously it's not been used... Royal Mail seems to still be the cheapest if I sent it via them...

Exactly, have to use a courier these days not Royal Mail as a non-commercial customer.

I have to use other couriers but not being able to return a Lipo is something I always point out to sellers when negotiating refunds.
Helicopter pilots get it up quicker.

When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.

Why simplify when it is so much simpler to complicate.

When posted out the shop has better rates than jo public, ie a mate had 2 x 5000 6s posted out to him at the cost of £6.50 from the retailer. Jo public sending them back is always going to cost more fact !

Is parcelshipper gonna be cheap? I don't want to spend £10 to return a £26 lipo
i have used parcelshipper for big things in the past

Has anyone used royal mail anyway? if it's packaged properly - who's to know? PM me if you have to...
I have checked Collect+ so that's another option at just under £1more i think than royal mail

Not like anyone could guess that a small heavy package being sent to a know supplier of lipo packs might contain a lipo ...

All depends how risk averse you are really.

If they do spot it, it will be destroyed without any compensation and you may or may not be prosecuted.

If due to some freak accident it did actually cause damage to someone/something and they could identify you as the sender you'd be prosecuted and liable for the damages.

So on balance it might make it, or it might not and the 'might not' side has a few risks attached to it.

              So, do you feel lucky?
