  • Trainer system on a jr dsx 12 to dsx 9 ?

    Hi
We have bought a s/h raptor for a club trainer !
I have a dsx12 and have tried to buddy it up to a dsx 9
Every thing except the airelons and elevator work the right way when the
trainer switch is on ! But I cannot get elev and aile to reverse with the normal revering switches
Has anybody had this problem before ??

and if you have how did you reverse them?

    Cheers Tom !!

    Hey buddy.

On Friday I buddy boxed a student the other way around, his DSX9 as the master and my DSX12 as the slave. I was expecting to have to manually copy over the settings but didn't have to.
I set a spare model memory on my DSX12 to heli type and left it at that, I didn't set the DSX9 as the master, just plugged in the trainer cord and all controls worked as expected. I just had to match the trim positions.

It might be worth trying similar to above, leaving the slave transmitter as a blank heli type memory slot and not selecting it to be a slave transmitter. In my case above the slave transmitter only supplied another pair of control sticks, the idle ups etc were handled by the master Tx.
I think if you select the slave Tx to be slave, this can sometimes cause problems. But by just plugging in the trainer cord on a blank Tx model memory you just use the sticks.
