  • Need loctite, anywhere in Cambridge itself?

I'm working in Cambridge for a couple of days and staying overnight tomorrow. Was going to spend the evening starting a build but my lactate is a couple of years old so probably safest to replace. I normally use Zap-42 blue as it's worked well in the past. Problem is no time to order online now. Anyone have any ideas where I might get some in the centre of Cambridge or close to it?

Look for halfords, they sell the blue 248 loctite if Im not mistaken. It is in stick form just like one of those lipbalm.

Does Locktite go off over time? I never really thought about but mine are a few years old now. I mainly use the Zap 42 on most things.

          Hi Pete
          Try trumpington models (hobbystores)
They used to be at the traffic lights at trumpington ,
They do alot of heli stuff aswell ,havent been for a while but website says they still do alot heli related.
          Hope this helps

Mackays on East Rd will have all types. There's a car park from New St.

Try Maplin if you can find one
Bondloc Threadlock and Seal Medium Strength 25ml | Maplin

This stuff is really good and fairly tolerant to oily screws.

I just never thought about it! I can easily test some and see if it still locks.

Not sure what id do if my lactate had gone off Pete, I'd suggest not using it in your tea
