I want to know that what is the purpose of the following buttons (encircled in the image) on remote control?

    1.jpg

I used to have a Syma S107G 3-Channel RC Helicopter in which I used to take off and land the helicopter with main two left hand side and right hand sticks i.e. throttle stick and rudder stick.

Also, during the first flight the rotor balance stick/blade was bent due to a crash so I straighten it with my hands but now whenever I fly it (without crash) it bends (without hitting ground or walls). Why is it so?

One more last thing, it only moves backward (in the direction of it's tail) even though I don't want to move it in backward direction, it goes automatically. I have tried to pull the battery forward (as maximum I can do), I have also put a camera at landing gears in centre. I read somewhere on internet that I should hold it through a fibre thread and suspend it in the air and check where it tends to fall and then put weight accordingly on the opposite side. Should I do that? Because it doesn't fly from ground, every time I have to hold it in my hand for take off (though it lands properly) because it falls (sometimes in right direction and sometimes in left direction.

I hope that an expert advice will help me to continue my new hobby.

    Cheers!

    Ok,

The items you circle are trim controls, they effectively calibrate the model. So for example if when hovering it drifts forward without any stick control being used you can adjust what the diagram calls steering trim forward/backward until it stays still. Its the same for the other 2 controls.

    However,

This is not a model as we would recognise it and is a really bad start if you're serious about model flying. The controls are in the wrong positions and you'll need to re-learn when you go to a 'real' model flight. My advise would be to have a little fun with it and see how much enjoyment you get - remember these models do not fly particularly well compared to what you would find in your RC specialist store

change the tail rotor for a bigger one skyking one works well also you can weight the canopy so the front is heavier and it will make it fly foward better

Looks like you got it down just in time before it was blown into the river!

As somebody else mentioned, these 3 channel coaxials are great for getting people into this hobby, but for,not much money, there are much better options out there that will handle wind really well.

Take a look at www.rchelicopterfun.com for a good starting point ...
