Fast lads neat part finder

Fast lad performance have introduced a new part finder very very neat:

I belive they will add more heli's over time but works and its rather smart

Now thats a nice idea as half the time ya have to look at ya manual to see the name of parts and each retailer has diff codes for the same part which can a pita sometimes when ordering

Thanks guys, glad you like it. Its taken a fair bit of work to get it the way we wanted it and have it integrate with our stock control. So not only can you find the part you can see right there and then that its available. Before the weekend is out we should have the Mini Titan and the t-rex 450 V2 up.. The 450 one will be great as the manual is hard to follow to find the right parts. Then we will do the 500 and 600's next and then onto the more exotic stuff like Vibes and Synergy's towards the end. Once all that is done we have something else coming along :-)

That is a quality addition to any buying site, we use similar software to identify parts at work, (click on an ident no to add it to a list) but it is not linked to our stock control system. I would love to be able to have this facility at work and for our web site, but I guess if you dont have the in house skills to develop it it would be expensive.

Fast-Lad have come from seemingly no where in the last year, and are firmly the top supplier in my opinion. how many other places continually develop both their site to make it easier and also their range so much? top marks lads, well done

Well done Fast-Lads on the new process. I have only been in the sport since Jan 2008 but soon found the site and quickly became a convert to this particular supplier. It is my favorite spares provider and have always had nothing but 100% from them. Brilliant deliveries and always on hand to help with my questions on techi subjects. Well done once again Lads.

Thanks guys, we appreciate the feedback. We have a lot of new things coming this year to make shopping as easy and as cost effective for everyone as possible.

Most of the 450 V2 spares are now online in the "Fast Finder".. You may need to hit shift and refresh on your browser to reload the java script so you can see new helis as we add them. Next will be the Mini Titan, but that will probably be Tuesday night as monday is a busy day for the shop :-) and it takes around 6 hrs for each product map we do..

The idea for the fast finder actually came from the auto industry, I remember seeing one years ago and thinking it was a great idea. I want to recognise the man that made it possible for us Steven Pritchard.. aka drunk_monk (off another forum). Ste is a fantastic developer and great friend to the company and as a fellow flyer we can usually pay him in parts (or food or beer). Without his input and his willingness to work in the middle of the night there is no way we could do some of the things on the site we have done over the last year.. Thanks ste..
