I wonder if I'll be able to get a pass to go out and play...

Just been out and tried the new Maxpoly 6s 3000mAh Lipo in the 500 but the winds are terrible..

Not worth crashing in these conditions as its a lottery whether its gonna come home safe or not.

Despite the forecast from yesterday it cleared here today. So after watching the Moto GP from Jerez I packed up and went to the field. I was surprised I was the first one there but several others were not far behind.
Managed to do a couple of basic check flights with the Titan . before a little problem forced me to pack it up for the day. a few minor adjustments still needed and a few tanks of light work to bed the Hyper in.

Had a few tanks with the Rappy 30 and a battery with the Mini Titan.
All in all a good day .

One question for all you Hyper experts, after a couple of tanks the Titan was covered in oil, I havnt made any adjustments yet and it is running as delivered in the box. is this normal or would you all suggest running a little leaner now?

                          Hi Lee
It was good, I did no more than just hover and gentle close manouveres before I noticed a problem, but it is defo different than the 30. I will sort out the problem this week I hope and have a more testing flight next weekend. One thing I did notice, it uses about twice as much fuel as the 30, tank was empty in no time.
did you manage a day out today?

Good to hear the Titan is okay and flying well The 50s drink like a fish compared to the 30s. Especially if they are a bit on the rich side.

Not so good was a mid-air at the field - see my other thread
