  • How longs your session

Out of interest how many flights do you get per session at your club?

For me, I usually have about 3 hours and if the field is busy this equates to about 6 flights. If it's empty at the club then. I get about 12 before i need to recharge.

so what's your normal flying visit like?

In the summer, I'm usually there 4-6 hours, and I usually only have about 6 flights.

I'm planning to up that to 10 average this year with the impending generator purchase.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

Thanks to my clubmates being awesome and us all getting on its very variable.

Our flying seems to be limited by our chatting rather than by a queue for the flight line.

Often we have different commitments, and if a member needs to disappear by a certain time, we will let them have the lions share of the flightline to burn their way through their packs.

Our club is awesome thanks to its awesome members

I bet it is not as awesome as the MK Club.

Chatting is also my limitation. Rarely any queue for a flight. I also spend a lot of time watching top class 3d flights.

Similarly, we tend to spend 4 to 5 hours and for me if I get in 10 flights I consider that quite a full day. Usually there's a fair amount of chatting and tea drinking to do which cuts the number of flights down a bit.

I fly on farm land 3 minutes drive from home (with permission) on a good weather day in winter i do 2 hours in the morning doing 10 flights back to back then go home to recharge and do the same again after lunch.

20 lipos in one winter day is a good day, 30 in summer is even better

I fly until all my packs are done! 5 for the 550, 3 for the 450 and 3 for the FPV quad! then it takes me 2-3 days to recharge! I need a better charger I think!
