  • What really is the best small heli for indoors/learning?

    Hey you guys

Me again, on another quest for knowledge. I'm sick of the weather, and aside from my hubsan x4, I only have a 450 and a 500 which are only suitable for outdoors.

So my question is, for a beginner type, like me, what is the best small heli there is? Suitable for a village hall or indoors and resiliant to the odd clout on the deck, and one I can just bind my dx6i to.

I need something I can practice maneuvers with you see.

    Ta in advance

A blade nano with the newly announced brushless mod. Blade may release a v2 with the brushless main motor already done.

But certainly the Nano makes a good indoor trainer that is light enough to be relatively unscathed when it hit something.

Personally I find the Mcpx BL to be a little to powerful for indoors. But that could be down to my skill level. The older v1 or v2 mcpx I found okay for indoor.

Mcpx bl is to fast to learn with indoors you can dull it down with a decent tx but it has masses of head speed and doesn't take as much of a bashing as the nano. Nano is the best if your learning its great for orientation . And honing your low speed flying.

Ye definatly but not in ur living room unless you had a lot of practice. I used my bl the the hall before I sold it and it was fine. I prefere the nano for indoor tho. If you want to know the best nano for out door flight id say its the mcpx bl. Im not mentioning the trex150 as its not designed for beginners and is VERY delicate

Also its worth noting flight time nano cpx 6mins, mcpx bl 4mins, trex150 3mins. You can give or take a minute depending on head speed and flying style.

Cheers you guys. Looks like the Blade Nano is the clear winner, unless the investment company do away with it before I get one of course.
