Old Flyer back for another go

No. You can tame the heli response down just as with a normal model.

Edit. The only thing I would say is that DFC needs high head speeds. Personally I found that I preferred lower, less angry head speeds until very recently as I found them less intimidating.

Would that be through the software that you would tame the Dfc. My concern with Dfc is the higher head speeds and the concern with reducing this speed will increase the chances of boom strike.

You would tame a DFC heli like any other. Flybarless controller settings and DR/expo on your TX. I don't believe you can really lower the head speeds too much due to the mechanical way that DFC works.

Cheers for the info Tom. Now all I have to do is find a trex 500 pro either Dfc or preferably a efl. As advised on here.

Wow this thread has turned in to quite an informative one with a lot of points of view. Which is good because as I have found and read this one managed so far to stay on topic.

Jamin_00 thouse 3 vids of my 600n are when I first got it I think I flew it once before that time but setup wasn't right or something lol good to see though. Wish I had some vids of my outrage 50n I loved that Heli and it flew so nice it allowed me to push the limits of flying quite a bit that would be a nice Heli to still have bit I hear parts are hard to come by
            Regards
