  • Went nitro n flybar today

And enjoyed ever minute of it , gotta rappy 50 Titan se from my LHS , at a mega price fitted it out with all my worst kit , borrowed an engine and pipe , bit worn to say the least , the futaba 611 gyro is fantastic 6 n a half min flights , the four flights today beats all the flight time for my goblin 500 from all year BUT the main gear is now worn out from brand new , 4 flights only mind , having owned a lot of rappys , a quick call to source V2 parts , will see me airborn again , Pegasus models are blooming awesome loving it

I know if the rappy does it again when the new bits are fitted , I'll sling the flybar'd head on a rex frame set , cos I'm sure in the past , the frames have been wrong too , but we shall see , LONG LIVE THE FLYBAR

One of the best flying helis I have is a Robbe Dyna-X, flybarred head and GY611 gyro on the tail. It totally lives up to the phrase everyone used to use 'flies like it's on rails'. I like having it as a point of reference alongside the FBL helis.

I never had problems with gear wear on a Raptor but I have always just had the 50 V2s powered by OS50 Hypers.

its brought some interest back into my flying life I also have had n destroyed several v2's they were fine , unsure why they tweaked it ? I always wanted to try the 611 , but could never afford it , I recon it can be tweaked even further , but it really is a solid tail , except when the engine dies not the gyros fault , just a lack of rpm

Oh happy rappy days from too many moons back , I think this was my first tandem attempt , trouble is the belt kept going slack n the blades kept hitting , and from what I remember , the rest swash was rudder and the front swash was on right hand stick , so had to work both or either , was git to fly , then I got a mixer cheating they call it

hmm interesting ... I flew *cough* n *cough* today as well .. interesting but different - however nothing for me, couldnt deal with the tuning and mechanical stuff involved apart from that I would think it would help me progress as you need to fly more accurate than on electric
