Run out of money, banks came in and closed them in one day, or so I hear.

There are various rumours about the cause and the closure was even confirmed by ex-employees. But I wouldn't consider it permanently closed just yet. When such things happen the company it taken over by liquidators and the first thing they do is to try and find a buyer. It is still entirely possible that it will continue on under new ownership. The customer base, website, trade agreement, supplier list and other systems a company uses have a lot of value to someone who wants to get into that market.

I think it was their general manager that said all orders before Friday 3pm were shipped anything that came in after will be refunded. But, if they close for good customers will lose their warranties on ReadyHeli's own brands (example Thor batteries) and it is unlikely they will get refunds for gift cards. One chap said he had a $500 one!

A timely reminder to always use a credit card for purchases of any half decent amount then just pay it straight off then you are covered whatever.

sad if it turns out they are gone, they were a great store to deal with.
