I've been playing 'mix & match' with some FBL heads. While I seem to have ended up with potentially quite a nice head; I have the problem that I need a swash to grip turnbuckle shorter than that required for a stock heli.
Has anyone come across turnbuckles sold in sizes other than that required for a specific head on a specific heli ?
While it's possible to cut them down, and re-tap to extend the thread (though one is LH and it's titanium), I'd prefer to avoid this. Largely because these parts tend to be damaged in crashes; so I'd rather not smash something that was specially made &/or hard to replace.
I think the threads are M2 or M2.3 (to fit Align or Heli Option links). Length 45, 50, 55mm IIRC - but being able to vary this is the point (eg depending how high you mount the head, or such).
