Well I've done it, my 1st loop the loop with my B450 3d.
I have read on here and other forums that when you do your 1st loop your heart speeds up, well you weren't joking, it went into quick speed mode, it wasn't half beating hard for a bit
what a buzz.
I haven't flown for a few weeks and I don't like the cold as a rule but the sun was out today so I thought it was about time. Got through 2 packs experimenting with some higher dual rate settings just to make her a bit more responsive but didn't feel right at first but by the end of pack 3 things were looking better. I did a double piro stall turn for the first time both sides and then a triple but only on the right, that felt really good cos I been wanting to do one of those for ages. Then on pack four I went for it. The first 2 run ups were a mess bit the 3rd looked good with plenty of forward speed at around 25ft, back with the elevator and a little bit of pitch and round she went, nice big loop I'd say 20ft maybe but it was a bit tighter coming out. WOW! What a feeling.
The 2nd loop well wasn't a loop cos I bottled it at the top when it was inverted so I give full - pitch and forward elevator and ended up doing a really big S it did look pretty good mind lol, I think I'll have another go at doing that next time I go out
It was up a hell of a height by then mind !
I did another 5 loops after that and still managed to bring it home in one piece lol.
What a great day thanks to you guys giving me tips and encouragement. I've had a grin on my face all afternoon.
