motor & esc combo any good ???

Hi all

got myself a brand new castle 120hv edge esc and i have got chance of a kontronik pyro 700-52 long shaft motor which will be going into a raptor e700, and i was just wondering if these will be compatible put together ? or do i exchange the castle for a jive 120hv to go with the motor.
The only thing is i have not had any dealings with the set up any kontronik esc before, are they easy to sort out or are they a pain in the back side ?

Yeh will work fine with correct setting in castle, jive 120 has a reliable bec, and great gov, and easy to setup and will be perfect with the matched motor.

cheers gixerman thats good to hear thought i might of been making a possible mistake with motor and esc !!!!! already got a gryphon quasar bec to go with the castle, going to be running bls451 & bls251 tail, will have to give the jive a bit more thought before i make my decision because of the difference in price thats all, not sure if can push the funds much further lol.

If u already have the bec, no point with jive, as won't be used .

Was thinking the same !!!! the extra need to buy the jive will go towards new flight packs
