Afternoon all,
just though I'd bore you to tears and let you know I finally got around to testing my new set up Hummingbird V3 properly today, with Etec 1250, 2 cell Lipos.
I installed heat sinks on the standard V3 main and tail motors to ease the heat of the extended flight times, but apart from that all stock parts.
When I finally got everything trimmed out correctly I got the thing in a hover and managed to get a full twenty minutes of flight! Id heard mixed reports on the ability of 2 cell Lipos with my set up, but it really was very impressive.
Thanks to Midland Helis, and especially Noel, for their advice in buying the right kit.
