HK double charge.

Morning all, I have just recieved my Turnigy lipo's from HobbyKing and then checked my bank account, as I always do. I found out that I have been charged twice for the same transaction!
So if you have recently ordered from them, check your bank account folks.

Anybody had this before?

Did u pay using an app ?

I sent £40 to my missus with Barclays pingit app and got a network error message 'please try again'

Got one email confirmation but transaction was processed 3 times !!!!

Barclays couldn't give a toss and I'm £80 down ,,,,,, never again

I sent it via paypal linked to my bank card, which worryingly as per Milly0812, is a barclays account. I have emailed HK to report the issue, I await the reply. No doubt it will be offering points rather than the money. :-(

PayPal is really good! Contact PayPal if your not happy with HK points. Tell them that you have been charged twice and contacted the seller but with no positive response. PayPal will refund you.

I ordered loads of things off HK website. I pressed UK warehouse and it took ages to arrive. So I was wondering what was going on. It took 3 weeks to arrive and it wasn't until then that I noticed it had all come from Hong Kong :/ and the postage had cost me more than everything I had bought. It needs to be more apparent on that website about exactly WHERE it is that you are ordering from. I didn't bother to email them or anything about it as it was still quite cheap for everything that I got and I couldn't be assed with the hassle.

I must say Grant that this is not the first bother I have had with them, but it is the first monetary problem I have had. I only use them for lipos because "surely they can't get that wrong". Ho hum. I think HK and my days are at an end.

That's is exceptional for Paypal then mate. Good effort I've heard of people waiting ages for resolutions .

I've had 2 immediate refunds via PayPal. Items didn't show. Had to wait 30 days as the supplier stated it could take that long to ship. Then I got my money back. Simples...

Grant its easy to miss where the stock is coming from I've done it myself but you can check stock only in the UK by selecting that method, if you search outside of this it will show global stock and it normally says next to the item where it is coming from

Cheers! Next time I will be extra careful to ensure that whatever I buy is coming from the right place. All my bits were cheaper than the UK priced stuff anyway as they came from HK warehouse. But it was the postage that stung me. I think it was about £50 odd quid just for delivery for all the bits that I got. Probably would've only been about £20 if it had come from the UK warehouse. All the same it still worked out cheap as chips! Three 3 cell lipos were $30 so that's like what? £15-£18?
So I've made my money just there even though the postage was quite high. So all in all I wasn't really that fussed. P.s don't ask what else I bought from there I won't survive two minutes on here lol!
