Trust me if you want to continue enjoying flying the nano, buy lite! I tried the extreme skids they are well heavy! Ok itys not so noticeable at first but as soon as the motor starts to wear and the batteries get to many cycles you will feel like you are flying a heavy hog!
Stick to stock weight as much as possible in upgrades!
The Airime skids are very light only 0.1g heavier than the stock skids the xtreme skids look great but are way heavier! (cant find them to weigh in!)
I have 3 nano cpx and have tried many different skids the kbdd, xtreme, rakon, microheli... The only ones that didn't break from a crash so far are the airtime and xtreme. I now use the stock skids as I rarely crash anymore or if I do its with the throttle hold on! But while learning new moves and while I was learning I used only the airtime skids! very light and virtually indestructible.
I have to disagree I have broken 2 sets of these and like you say the fit is not so good! Some say that the tit fit warps the smaller nano frame. Also the battery mount is for the smaller nano batteries not the larger mcpX ones... The nano cpx users that use these skids tend to have brushless conversions and need the larger batteries.
I put over 100 flights on my nano, never broke these skids or had a battery move. For £3.99 you can't go wrong, I'd buy them again without a second thought.
