  • 700N 700E differences

I may be being a bit of a thicko here, but why does the 700E DFC have a nice tidy arrangement of 3 cyclics mounted on the top bearing block, while the 700N still has the (old fashioned & complex) bellcranks and intermediate elevator servo shaft etc?
Am I missing something that makes it difficult to position servos on a nitro?
Reason I ask is I have a 600N that I never fly, and I woke up this morning with a strange urge to get it going...Must be losing it I think.

And happy to have FOUR shiny EGS

The main reason is CoG. With the servos on direct to swash it tends to leave a nitro tail heavy. The electric model has the huge battery mass to shift the CoG about but nitros can struggle.

I think it's to do with c of g ,fuel at the back so you need weight in the front ( servos )
But saying that the new synergy n7 has manage to do it !!!

Trev the 600 flybarless is one of the best helis out there. Cheap, mechanics that are easy to service and even Tesco hold spares
