Free phoenix sim/model setup, Helpout sessions available for the next 10 hours

Hi Guys,

I have been abandoned left to defend for myself for the day. The weather is crap so if there is a model setup issue you can't quite get your head round or you need some pointers for your flying click the link below and ask away.

Phoenix online session is "Google Helpout with Ade" and the password is "flyingaid" but I ask that you join the helpout first then the online session.

In a word yes, although the first is free. I had the same problems as Richard with a headset, I do not use one normally so had to grab my son's and get that going which was problems with the usb port. But once sorted the help sessions are very easy to set up and went very well all from the warmth of my office chair. Not quite the same as flying outside, But a very good replacement for this time of the year. More lessons after Christmas I reckon.......

First, glad to have help you guys, I saw big improvements in you, well done thanks for helping to prove the concept :-)

I have had a couple of messages from people asking how this works so to save answering it twice and helping others find out how this all happens I will post it here.

Helpouts is a platform provided by google, it gives a voice/video call similar to skype (based on their hangouts platform) there is an android app should you not have a microphone on your computer, If you have an iphone or windows phone and no microphone on your computer then private message me, there are other options that we can do for these free sessions.

once we are talking to each other on helpouts I will start a phoenix online session that has a password on it so it will just be us. We will have a chat about your flying, I will watch for a couple of mins and see if we can see where we can improve or ways to make it easier for you to improve your skills.

your first session with me is free, further ones are £5 for 30mins.

Hope this clears up some of the questions. Anything else just post here and I will answer them.

I also do other helpouts for model setup problems, Computer/phone/tablet questions and help with your home security.

Just finished a Helpout session with Ade.

I have to say I think it is a really good way of getting tuition, especially on days like today with 50 mph gusts outside.

After watching my shoddy flying Adrian quickly identified where I was going wrong and suggested a couple of things to try.

I'll continue working on what we discussed and have another session soon!

google wallet is attached to your google account, if you have an android phone and have bought an app you already have it setup. If not you just sign in with your google account and attach your debit/credit card to it.
