  • Dx6i !!!

    Now I have your attention

Is it just me or....I'll cut to the chase.I want the above TX, we all know how good they are and that's fair enough, all good. Like most, I love a bargain so I go hunting for a used Dx6i on E bay, only to discover some used ones selling combined with postage for around £70.00! Why on earth would you pay that when you can get a new one at Kings Lynn models for £79.90!.....You might be saving a Tenner but is it really worth the risk? It could end up a bad used buy....mmmm thing i'll swallow the Tenner and get piece of mind and a new one Thank you

I think I paid £80 for mine last year with an ar6200 and sat, That was used, then sold it on not long after.

ebay folk are daft really, They think they are doing well but do forget about the postage as you've said and just bid to outdo others. I've had a few auctions where I've sold things and couldn't believe how much items sold for. The DX6i sold for £90. If only they'd bothered to check previous feedback.

I looked on ebay when I was looking to upgrade my oe radio in my rtf. I settled on a brand new combo as I decided a second hand one was simply not worth bothering with.

I sometimes wonder if there isn't something going on that I have overlooked when this happens. I can understand it when the item is unique or some such thing. I've seen bids go above the Buy it Now price that you can even see on the same page.

Why simplify when it is so much simpler to complicate.
